A beehive style keyhole cover. The nickel plated reeded 'beehive' cover sits over the plain backplate. This good sized piece will suit any of our 'Beehive' handles. The term ‘Beehive' refers to the repeat reeded detailing. Beehive became a highly popular design born in the Regency era and used heavily throughout the Victorian period and into the early 20th Century. This piece of door furniture not only compliments many of our door handles but covers and neatens the cut hole for the key and reduces draughts.
It matches other door furniture and has a high-quality look and feel.
I purchased these to go with the Solid Ebony Beehive Door Knobs. They complement each other perfectly, great design and quality. Really thrilled with these Willow & Stone products
Excellent product for an Arts and Crafts house (with matching beehive door and cabinet knobs throughout). Excellent product and staff at shop could not have been more helpful. I have already recommended Willow & Stone to 2 other friends doing similar full refurbishment projects. JH Tunbridge Wells
