A substantial, weighty pair of polished nickel door knobs in the classic beehive style but much larger than our others making them perfect for the front door or large internal doors. Made from solid brass with a quality nickel plated finish applied. The term Beehive refers to the repeat reeded detailing. Beehive became a highly popular design born in the Regency era and used heavily throughout the Victorian period and into the early 20th Century. The reeding detail allows for grip on handles and door furniture. You will find the beehive design featured on many of our products and it remains a consistent best seller. • Suitable for mortise and rim latches (simply remove a rose plate when used with a rim lock).
