Falmouth Week 2019

Each year Falmouth hosts a number of events and sailing regattas with the biggest being Falmouth Week.
From a local sailing regatta that began in 1837 Falmouth week has grown to encompass 8 days of yacht racing. And it’s not only sailing that is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike but the lively programme of entertainment. Crowds gather to watch air displays, music, carnivals, fireworks and more.
But it if it is the sailing that draws you there are many picturesque spots where you can while away some time watching the variety of beautiful yatches. These include Pendennis and St Mawes Castles, St Anthony Head, Castle Drive and Pendennis Point, Trefusis Point and Flushing.
For us at Willow & Stone all this on offer means a buzzing shop and a wonderful atmosphere on the high street that we love.
It also, most years, means watching the Red Arrows display from our perfectly placed office balcony. This year something slightly different is taking place with an air show of stunts and manoeuvres featuring The Blades, AeroSuperBatics WingWalkers and Strikemaster Pair.
Taking place between Friday 9th August and Sunday 18th August here is a summary of what’s on offer onshore.
