Willow & Stone Team

Our Team

We are a friendly and knowledgable bunch. Here’s a little more about the team.

Im Sarah, founder of W&S and mum to two little girls. I have a degree in Illustration (but would have studied anything that enabled me to move to this beautiful town!). My degree has helped me to run the business ‘creatively’ and good design is at the heart of everything I do.

Sian is assistant manager (currently on maternity leave following the birth of her second little boy) and came to us with a background in textile design with a skill for organisation and a keen eye for detail. She is passionate about our products, often assisting on buying trips.

Laura, a graphic design graduate, is our current assistant manager and brilliant with numbers helping to resolve problems. She calm and collected drumming up enthusiasm for window displays in super quick time. She also runs her own design business on her days off. Read more here.

Dawn is the person you may speak to if you phone us and takes care of our customer service. She is friendly and  knowledgable about our products and keenly organised! She lives on a lovely old boat she’s in the midst of restoring.

Felicity is another talented Textiles Graduate and assists with the maintaining of the website along with styling for our many photography shoots. She’s also the person we turn to when our computer systems fail!

Rebecca is found front of house in our Falmouth shop. She is also a graduate in Textiles and runs her own business, Hilda Living for which she works with interior designers to create bespoke digitally embroidered cushions. Visit her site here.

Hannah is a versatile member of our team and lends her hand to sales, order processing and customer services. She’s also a talented illustrator with her first book being published early 2016 (Which naturally will be available in our shop!). You can read more on her website.

Sophie works both in our shop, helping with displays and also in our packing team. Her caring nature makes her fantastic with customers. She also paints beautiful signs and has done some beauties for our shop. Visit her Instagram account here where you’ll also meet her gorgeous kitten, Atticus.

Louisa works both in store and also in our packing team. She’s super switched on, tidy and organised. When not at W&S she works as an Early Interventionist, supporting young people with social and communication skills to improve their lives.

Nick is our stock coordinator dealing with stock and deliveries. He’s also super knowledgeable about lighting, and loves nothing more than trawling through vintage lighting at salvage yards.

Ellie is part of our packing team and also excels working front of house in the shop where nothing is too much trouble. Her friendly nature helps keep us all motivated.

Katie is also part of our packing team and fills in wherever needed. She’s quick thinking and super fast. Currently working towards a degree in Fine Art whilst also sharing a beautiful studio space up in St Agnes.
