Our Team
We are a friendly and knowledgeable bunch. Here’s a little more about some of the team (more coming soon)…
I’m Sarah, founder of W&S and mum to two little girls, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have a degree in Illustration. My degree has helped me to run the business ‘creatively’ and good design is at the heart of everything we do. I do all the buying, look after social media and oversee the website. But I also happen to love speed-packing when needed!
Laura, a fine art graduate and mum, helps to manage the website in all its forms as well as constantly improving its usability. She’s always smiling, calm and collected and is a great problem solver. She has plenty of valuable creative input too including everything from window displays to newsletters and blog posts.
Felicity is a highly talented Textiles Graduate and mum. She runs our photoshoots and many of our creative projects and window displays. She’s also the DIY queen embarking on many drill and hacksaw related tasks. If you have technical issues with products you may speak to her and she’s also the person we turn to when our computer systems fail!
Lucy is our stock coordinator dealing with stock and deliveries and liaising with our suppliers. She is the speediest person i've ever known, at everything she does. And her attention to detail means she doesn't make mistakes either. She is a highly valued jack-of-all-trades, master-of-everything!
Hayley is our lovely full time Senior Sales Assistant in the shop and makes sure that it looks amazing, is ever changing, creates new displays on a daily basis, keeping the shop clean and tidy and generally making sure customers always feel very well looked after!
Dawn has been part of our team for many years and is now helping to look after our online sales whilst being a mummy and living the good-life in rural Cornwall.
Ellie
Not only does Ellie make us laugh all day long, she brings a sense of ‘try not to worry’ to the team when things get tricky. Always keen to help wherever needed and enthusiastically helps to meet deadlines. We also call her our wordsmith as she writes beautifully in every sense of the word. On another note should anyone need a book recommendation, she’s our go-to!
