This very smart authentic replica of a latch/lock cover is made to cover circular yale latches on your front or back door. (May not fit over some 'Chubb' locks). The aged Nickel Plated lion head is also a knocker. The original was taken from a Edwardian guest house, this knocker was found on each guest door. Hiding each lock but also providing a way of chamber staff discreetly calling for guests. This authentic replica is a great period style item that hides away the modern necessaries we have on front doors today.
