Pressed brass finger plate with a slightly aged finish in a elegant and simple design, reeded to the edges. Finger plates became popular between 1850- 1950, they were not only used for a practical purpose but also became a decorative statement and more ornate depending on the popular style of the time. The finger plate also known as push plates or Door plates were used to protect the area of the door which has most contact and were widely used on most homes and the more decorative plates on larger grander period properties to make more of an interior statement.
Excelllent, will be buying more
Although within the finger plate is nice we would like more detail in the design.
These have blended seamlessly into my scheme, and I shall certainly be back, looking for others similar. Very well packed, and very quick, thank you
