A beautiful quality nickel plated solid brass sash window fastener with classic reeded beehive finial. A very fashionable finish in a classic design. Traditionally made in a UK foundry this piece of window furniture has beautiful detailing and will be a lovely addition to a sash window. The term ‘Beehive' refers to the repeat reeded detailing. Beehive became a highly popular design born in the Regency era and used heavily throughout the Victorian period and into the early 20th Century. The reeding detail allows for grip on handles. You will find the beehive design featured on many of our products and it remains a consistent best seller.
