Sustainable

Traditional, unobtrusive cast iron double coat hook that is at home in a small seaside cottage or a grand hallway. An essential accessory in a hallway, under stair cupboard or back of the bedroom door.

  • H: 12cm x Projection: 5.5cm
  • Made from lightly oiled cast iron
  • Apply with a light oil from time to time to avoid the cast iron rusting. If rust occurs remove rust with wire wool and re-oil the surface

Very pretty but the rust /colour from hooks has ruined many of my items. 🫤

Thank you for your review and we are very sorry to hear about your issues. For authenticity, our cast iron products are not lacquered, however they are applied with a layer of maintenance wax at the final stage in manufacturing. This offers a basic protection against moisture, but cast iron is susceptible to rust. If any surface rust develops, this can be removed by buffing with a fine grade wire wool and a light oil such as WD-40 or beeswax. Please take a look at the maintenance guides (found in 'How-to Guides' on our site) for lots of useful info. I hope this helps.
