A pair of cream ceramic door handles with brass petal edged brass backplates.

Ceramic handles were popular for almost a century, first appearing around 1830. They were widely used in Victorian homes upstairs and in less grand properties due to being more affordable than brass.

Manufactured in the UK.

  • Projection: 58mm
  • Diameter of petal backplate: 65mm
  • Spindle: 8mm square tapered, 110mm length
  • Made from ceramic with lacquered brass backplates
  • Cannot be used individually
  • Use with mortise latches only (not suitable for Rim)
  • Not suitable for external use
  • These handles are unsprung
  • Set comprises two handles, two brass backplates, a spindle and brass screws
