A large smart lion head door knocker cast in solid brass with a polished nickel plate. A heavy and substantial piece which will add grandeur in any entrance. Lion door knockers have remained popular for centuries, a similar style can even be found on No.10 Downing street. This design has been copied from an antique original from the regency period which has captured the beautiful detailing, classic style and character.
