These solid oval door knobs are made from cast steel with a beeswax finish. As they are unsprung they would need to be used with a heavily sprung latch and they can be used for either mortise or rim locks (remove one backplate when using with a rim lock). The spindle is threaded so the handles can be adjusted accurately depending on the thickness of the door. Each set comes with fixings and two escutcheons.

- Solid cast steel with a beeswax finish to protect from rusting. Re apply beeswax from time to time

- We recommend that the centre of the knob should be a minimum of 3" from the edge of the door
- To be used with a heavily sprung latch.
- Suitable for Mortise and Rim locks
- Fixings included matching SS wood screws and x2 matching escutcheons
- Once in position locate the grub screw in the 'V' of the spindle to avoid coming loose
