Polished Antique Brass Letter Tidy, a cover designed to be fitted on the inside of a door, to provide a neat and tidy finish internally covering the bolts and hole of a letterplate, additionally helping prevent draughts.
Made from solid unlacquered brass this letter tidy has a living finish applied to provide a distinctive look with a darker patina around the edges and brighter, polished surfaces. Since it's a living finish, it will continue to darken over time. You can easily polish it to restore the brighter areas if preferred.
